USPS Mobile® App Reviews

This app used to work good for scanning and tracking packages being shipped. It was plain and simple but at least did what was needed. Now when you scan something it does absolutely nothing! It recognizes and counts the scanned barcodes and then nothing. The list stays empty, the barcodes are not saved and you are left with an empty list. Totally non-functional and useless! It's been broken for 1-2 months now. Either fix it or take it off the App Store!!

Whats up with your tracking system, it dosent work, never and it always says: Sorry, the tracking system is having technical difficulties. Please try your search again. Have tryed it with several Tracking Numbers and nothing happens!!! CAN YOU FIX IT?!

…it would be great, if you could add a time stamp to each entry in the tracking view.

Why is this in the Canadian app store??? Its completely pointless and useless to Canadians so shouldnt be here.

Just got it, works great, I dont have to go to safari and keep refreshing the usps page for an update on my shipment anymore, plus I can name my shipments to keep track of them. To those who said this is a useless app in the canadian app store: some of us have buisness abroad so dont be so ignorant.

This works great! No crashes, and valuable info. For those Canadians that say it is useless, think before you speak. You obviously have never ordered anything from the US and had it shipped priority international USPS which often is the cheapest and fastest way to get things here. Once it crosses the border and clears customs, items get handed off to Canada Post for final delivery. Also good info if you have relatives in the US and want to find a location near them for shooing purposes. Dont knock USPS until you try it!

I never understand when people complain that an app wont do something that it isnt designed to do! I love this app, I live on the border and frequently have items shipped from the US; it is much easier tracking them here than having to use a PC and the USPS website. Hey…thats what this app was designed to do! AND IT DOES IT WELL. Well done, 4 stars.

Ive been able to track my multiple packages perfectly. Only thing I dislike is the fact that they dont show estimated delivery dates

We are a Canadian business who ships a lot to the US. This allows me to easily track orders and add order detail so I know whats what.

Sorry, but this app is pretty terrible. Doesnt update. Kinda useless.

I am Canadian and this app is perfect for tracking USPS shipments to a drop off location just south of the border where I drive to pick them up. Updates are timely with little delay (as compared to eBay tracking). For me one of the greatest conveniences is the the app remembers your tracking numbers! I wish all the tracking apps did this - hint hint.

I dont know if its the app or just the USPS themselves that seem to be useless. I have all the major shipping company apps and they are all current, up to date tracking with ETAs and current location. I have even received a package and 3 days later it still says its at a facility somewhere in the states. Dont think this app is of much use!

The app is designed well but my experience with USPS is they are down right terrible at offering any tracking updates. Virtually nonexistent.

None of the packages were tracked in real-time I dont think they update their site. I think the employees at USPS are too busy surfing porn to update the tracking information!

The most useless app. I have ever used. Scans at mailing point and thats about it. Continually crashes. No updates in the last 5 days, but item is in transit. Those who say this is a good app. must work for USPS. Total waste of download time. Useless, useless, USELESS!!!!!!
